The plant reaches a height of 40 to 70 cm and possesses sword-shaped dark green leaves with distinct veining. The flowers are colored in light lilac or purple shades, the lower petals are complemented by yellow strokes, and the edges of the petals may have a wavy shape.
Flowering of the variety occurs in May–June. The plant prefers sunny areas with well-drained fertile soil of neutral or slightly acidic reaction. The variety is suitable for use in rock gardens, borders, group plantings, container cultivation, and for cutting.
