The Dutch iris (Iris hollandica) "Crown Jewel" is a bulbous plant 60–80 cm tall. The flower standards are Dresden yellow, and the falls are bright canary yellow with mandarin veining and a mimosa yellow center.
The Tall Bearded iris "Presby's Crown Jewel" reaches a height of 91 cm and is of the plicata type: the flowers are white with a contrasting blue-violet border. The plant forms large ruffled inflorescences about 15 cm in diameter and is a reblooming variety capable of repeat flowering.
