The plant belongs to the Dutch iris group. The height of the flower stalks is 60–70 cm, and the flower diameter reaches 13 cm. There is a characteristic yellow stripe on the inner perianth segments.
Flowering occurs in the spring, and the timing can be regulated through bulb storage conditions. From 2 to 5 flowers open gradually on a single flower stalk. The variety is suitable for cultivation in borders, group plantings, and containers, and is also valued as a crop for cut flowers.
