The tall bearded iris (TB) variety "Dakar" has a flower stalk height of about 90 cm and belongs to varieties with a mid-season bloom. Characteristic features are the dark violet standards and styles, as well as the presence of spurs.
Also found in commercial catalogs is the variety "Dakar" belonging to the group of bulbous Dutch irises, which are a different group of plants from bearded irises.
