The plant reaches a height of 50 to 85 cm and possesses sturdy, upright stems. The flowers are colored in an intense purple shade, complemented by a small yellow spot on the petals.
The variety is characterized as wind-resistant and winter-hardy. The flowering period occurs in early summer, from June to July. Successful growth requires well-drained soil and a sunny or partially shaded site, with bulbs planted in the ground in September or October.
