The tree forms a wide spreading crown up to 10 meters wide. Late bud break allows the variety to avoid damage from spring night frosts. Fruits ripen from the second half of October; the husk separates easily when the nut falls to the ground.
The variety has low susceptibility to diseases, however, in the first years after planting, it may be prone to bacterial blight. The nuts have an elongated shape with deep grooves. The variety is self-fertile and belongs to pollination group 1/2.
