The tree reaches a height of about 5 meters after 10 years of growth. The fruits have a dark smooth shell that is easy to crack, allowing the kernel to be extracted whole. The kernel is of medium size, dark in color, and possesses a mild sweet taste.
The variety has medium to high yield and high disease resistance, while sensitivity to spring frosts is estimated as medium. The fruits are used fresh, for drying, and for the preparation of tinctures. The variety can be used for cross-pollination with other varieties.
