The variety is characterized by early onset of bearing and high productivity, reaching 5000 kg/ha by the sixth year. The bearing type is lateral; buds are formed on side shoots. Chilling requirement is about 600 hours, which is lower than that of the Chandler variety.
The fruits have an oblong shape and an average weight of about 20 g; 85% of the harvest consists of nuts with a caliber larger than 38 mm. The shell is smooth, of medium thickness, with good mechanical strength. Kernel yield is 45–50%; the kernel is distinguished by its light color, luster, and high shell fill.
The plant possesses marked tolerance to anthracnose. The variety is adapted to intensive industrial cultivation, particularly to training using the central leader system, which facilitates mechanized processing and husking of the fruits.
