The tree grows with moderate intensity, forming a wide spreading crown with thick shoots. The variety is self-pollinating and characterized by early bud break, making it sensitive to late spring frosts. Harvesting usually takes place in September.

The fruits reach 5–7 cm in length and possess a heavily furrowed shell that is easily cracked. The kernel has a red or ruby hue, is distinguished by a spicy taste, but does not always completely fill the internal cavity of the shell.

The plant possesses natural resistance to leaf diseases. At the same time, the variety is sensitive to moisture stagnation in the soil, and during prolonged rains, the fruits may be susceptible to rot.
