The fruits of this variety are characterized by an elongated shape, pointed at both ends, and the presence of a thin shell. The large kernel is characterized by high taste qualities, and the structure of the fruit itself allows for easy cracking of the shell, which facilitates the extraction of the contents.

The tree is characterized by high yield and the ability to enter the fruiting period early. Due to the fragility of the shell, the fruits require careful handling during transport, therefore the variety was historically valued primarily for fresh consumption.
