The variety is characterized by a high capacity for fruiting on lateral buds, which account for about 85–90%. It belongs to the medium-ripening variety group and is distinguished by the high productivity of the spreading-type tree.
The fruits have an elongated shape with a pointed apex and a good shell suture. The variety is susceptible to walnut blight caused by Xanthomonas juglandis.
