The Havrebjerg walnut form is a selection specimen identified in Denmark in the settlement of Havrebjerg. This specimen is not a commercial variety of industrial breeding, but is included in research programs for the study and selection of promising trees adapted to the climatic conditions of the northern boundary of the crop's range.
The fruits of this specimen are very small in size and have a regular round shape. The light-colored shell is distinguished by high-quality valve closure and ease of cracking. The kernel is very light and small in size, however, relative to the size of the nut itself, its proportion is estimated as medium-large.
