The variety is a mid-season tree of medium vigor with a semi-upright crown. The bearing habit is lateral, which contributes to high yields. The plant is characterized by relative winter hardiness down to -25°C and drought tolerance.

The nuts have a round shape, a smooth and relatively thin shell. The light-colored kernel is easily extracted from the shell in whole halves and possesses high culinary qualities. The variety is not self-fertile; Franquette or Cisco varieties are recommended for pollination.
