Variety description

The tree forms a wide, relatively sparse crown. Flowering is late, and fruit ripening occurs in mid-September. The variety shows high resistance to anthracnose and bacterial blight, and withstands frosts down to -25...-30 ºC.

The nuts have an oblong shape, the fat content is about 55.7%. The variety is a staple for industrial walnut cultivation in Bulgaria; for pollination, it is recommended to use the varieties Sheynovo and Slivenski.
