The variety was selected in Denmark; the original mother tree was located at the Gottesgabe estate on the island of Lolland. The plant belongs to the group of "giant nuts" or "double nuts," which are valued primarily for the size of their fruits.

The fruit kernel is characterized by a reduced dry matter content. From a phytosanitary perspective, the variety is characterized as susceptible to bacteriosis. At present, the variety is included in projects for the conservation of genetic resources of nut crops in Denmark.
