The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-upright or semi-spreading crown shape. Due to late bud burst, the variety tolerates spring frosts well. Fruits ripen late, usually in mid-autumn.

The fruits are of large caliber, oblong or rectangular in shape with a tapering base, and have a hard shell. The kernel is noted for its delicate texture and good flavor. The plant is characterized by high resistance to diseases, including bacteriosis and leaf spot.
