The Pendula form is characterized by a drooping growth habit of branches and shoots, which forms a loose, tent-shaped crown. The height of an adult tree reaches 18–25 meters, and in individual cases up to 30 meters. The leaves are imparipinnate and large, ranging from 20 to 40 cm.
As a decorative plant, it is used for landscaping park areas and for planting as a solitary specimen. Despite the tree's ability to produce spherical fruits 3.5–5 cm in length, this form is not considered an agricultural crop for industrial nut production.
