The variety originates from the Vojvodina region in Croatia and belongs to the group of red-kernel walnuts obtained through natural selection. The tree has a small or medium size, often described as dwarf, reaching a height of 2–3 meters, which allows it to be grown in small gardens or containers.

The plant is characterized by an early-medium start of the growing season. The medium-sized nut has a good taste and dense kernel filling. The variety is of interest for amateur gardening as an ornamental and fruit crop.
