The variety is one of the significant commercial walnut varieties of Turkish selection. Its fruit physical and mechanical properties, including weight, shape, and sphericity indices, are used for adjusting equipment in the mechanization of cleaning and processing operations.

This variety is characterized by a protandrous flowering type, in which male flowers mature earlier than female flowers. Information on disease resistance, tree height, or maturity group is not presented in scientific publications.
