The Valstar tree has high vigor. Bearing occurs on a terminal (apical) basis. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of Romania.

The fruit ripening period falls in the second ten-day period of September. The variety is included in the official state catalog of plant varieties of Romania and is intended for industrial cultivation.
