The Velnita tree is characterized by semi-vigorous (medium) growth habit and forms a rounded crown. The fruits are medium-sized and round-ovoid in shape, with a grayish-yellow shell color.

The variety is productive, and fruiting occurs on both terminal and lateral buds. Flowering is semi-late and protogynous. The kernel percentage reaches 50.6%, and the kernel is rich in lipids.

The variety possesses frost resistance and is tolerant to major diseases, although it shows relative susceptibility to anthracnose and bacteriosis. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
