The variety was selected by Romanian breeders from local walnut populations in Vâlcea County. The fruits are characterized as high-quality, with the share of nuts larger than 32 mm exceeding 80%. Crop ripening in Romania occurs in mid-September.
The plant demonstrates high resistance to infection by bacteriosis and anthracnose of both leaves and fruits. The variety is high-yielding and shows consistently high yield indicators when using both traditional and organic cultivation methods.
