The tree is low-vigor, forming a neat, sparse crown with a diameter of 6–8 meters. The variety is largely self-fertile. The nuts are large, about 4.8 cm high and about 3.2 cm wide, with a thin, easily cracked shell. The kernel weight is about 46% of the fruit weight.
The variety is characterized by early bud break, which creates a risk of damage from spring frosts. The harvest ripens from mid-September to early October. The plant is sensitive to bacterial blight and Marssonina leaf spot.
Pruning is recommended to be carried out exclusively during the growing season between harvest and leaf fall, as winter pruning or pruning during sap flow leads to "bleeding" of the tree and a risk of rot in the wounds.
