The variety is an oak-leaf (Eichblatt) type Babyleaf lettuce with dense, deep dark-green glossy leaves. It is intended for all-season cultivation in open field and is often found under the breeding number 84-BB7730.
A key technological feature is the Knox trait, which slows down the oxidation of cut surfaces, thereby increasing the shelf life of the product. The variety possesses high resistance to races 29–41EU of downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) and lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri, Nr:0), as well as intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV:1).
