The variety forms large, dense, and heavy heads. The leaves are curly, light green or golden-yellow in color, often with a reddish tinge at the edges.
The plant is resistant to bolting but does not possess pronounced resistance to downy mildew. Successful cultivation requires fertile and sufficiently moist soils; the variety is sensitive to frosts.
