The Roselita variety belongs to the Batavia type green lettuce segment. The plants are uniform and have an upright habit, distinguished by rapid growth and leaf thickness. The variety ensures a good marketable yield.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew (races Bl: 29–40EU), lettuce aphid (Nr: 0), Fusarium wilt (Fol: 4) and Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV). Intermediate resistance to Lettuce mosaic virus (LMV: 1) and Fusarium wilt (Fol: 1) is also noted, as well as resistance to bolting.
The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field during the spring, summer and autumn seasons. The produce is suitable for both fresh market sale and industrial processing.
