Roset is a mid-early leaf lettuce of the Batavia type, which is also classified as the Reddish Fire type. The plant forms a large rosette of firm, highly curly light-red leaves. The average weight of one rosette is about 400 grams.
The variety possesses resistance to bolting. It is suitable for harvesting both as individual young leaves at the baby leaf stage and as whole formed rosettes. The produce is intended for fresh consumption and is often used in salad mixes.
The variety is intended for all-season cultivation, with spring and autumn being the main periods for cultivation in the open field.
