The variety forms medium-sized heads and has a characteristic red leaf color. It is intended for open field cultivation from spring to autumn and for fresh market sales.

It possesses very high bolting resistance. It is resistant to Lettuce mosaic virus and downy mildew, including races Bl:1–16, 21, 23.
