The variety is fast-growing; the first cutting is possible approximately 30 days after sowing. The plant forms a loose rosette of leaves about 25 cm high before flowering begins. In the bolting phase, the flower stalks reach 100 cm.
The leaves have a soft texture, a light green color, and a spoon-shaped form. The taste is rated as mild and neutral, without bitterness. The variety is resistant to bolting, although the process may accelerate in conditions of extreme heat.
The plant is suitable for multiple cutting as new leaves grow. The leaves are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for stewing or boiling as a side dish.
