The variety is a Salanova type leaf lettuce, forming a compact open rosette. The dark red leaves have a glossy surface, and are distinguished by strong dissection, juiciness, and a crunchy texture. The weight of one plant is from 300 to 500 grams.

The growing period of the variety is about 40 days. The produce is suitable for fresh consumption and processing; manual or mechanical harvesting is possible. When growing, a density of 10–13 plants per 1 m² is recommended, with planting in open field conducted from April to September, while year-round cultivation is possible in protected ground.

The plant possesses resistance to temperature fluctuations, a long period before bolting, good transportability, and shelf life. The variety has high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (races 1–16, 19, 21, 23), lettuce aphid (Nr:0), and internal necrosis.
