The hybrid is intended exclusively for use as a rootstock and is not grown for commercial fruit production. It possesses high growth vigor, early maturity, and good compatibility with commercial varieties of cucurbit crops.

The plant exhibits resistance to soil-borne pathogens, including Fusarium oxysporum (races 0, 1) and Verticillium dahliae, and is characterized by tolerance to low temperatures, which allows for its use in early planting periods.
