The variety was obtained by individual selection in the first generation from a seed population resulting from open pollination of the «Юбилейная» variety. The purpose of the variety is the production of essential oil.

The plant demonstrates high productivity: the yield of fresh inflorescences is about 650 kg/decare with an oil yield of about 13 kg/decare. During many years of testing, no damage from diseases, pests, drought, or freezing was recorded.

The quality of the essential oil complies with the ISO 3515:2002 standard. Breeding of the variety was conducted taking into account requirements to ensure the suitability of plants for mechanized harvesting.
