The plant is a compact evergreen shrub ranging from 30 to 60 cm in height, sometimes reaching 100 cm. The leaves are narrow, gray-green in hue, and pubescent. The inflorescences are spike-shaped, large, purple or lilac in color, with characteristic 'petals' located at the top.

The variety is distinguished by a long flowering period, which continues from mid-spring to the end of summer, with possible repeat flowering in the autumn period. The plant is drought-tolerant and is considered one of the most cold-hardy among Lavandula stoechas varieties, although it requires protection in temperate climates.

It is used in ornamental gardening for bordering, creating flower beds, as well as for growing in containers and planters.
