The variety is a compact, dense-bushed evergreen shrub up to 60 cm in height. The leaves have a linear shape and a gray-green hue.

Flowering occurs from late winter to early summer. The flowers possess an intense aroma with musky-pink undertones; the inflorescences are topped with large, soft, ruffled bracts.

The plant exhibits high resistance to leaf spot and alfalfa mosaic virus. Normal growth requires well-drained soils and a location in full sun.
