The plant has a compact, upright form, reaching a height of about 20–25 cm. The variety is distinguished by abundant flowering starting in spring; dense dark violet spike-like inflorescences are complemented by lighter purple bracts. The foliage is gray-green and fragrant.

The variety is early-flowering; under favorable conditions, repeat flowering is possible. The inflorescences are resistant to browning. The plant possesses high resistance to Botrytis and withstands temperature drops down to -10 °C; in regions with cold winters, it is recommended as a container crop.
