The variety was obtained by crossing lines MP20 / 1664s-4 // CDC Redberry. It belongs to the early-mid-maturing variety category, with maturity and flowering times comparable to the CDC Maxim variety. The variety does not possess resistance to imidazolinone herbicides.
The plant has moderate resistance to Ascochyta blight and anthracnose; lodging resistance is at the level of the CDC Maxim variety. The seeds have red cotyledons, and the thousand kernel weight is approximately 41 g. With a seed diameter slightly smaller than that of the CDC Maxim standard, their thickness is higher.
