The flowers are very large, 20 to 25 cm in diameter, and have a fragrance. The petal color is bright pink, ranging from strong red to a strong purple-pink shade, with a yellow or yellow-peach accent in the center near the nectaries.
The plant has a strong and straight stem 100 to 160 cm in height. The inflorescence is racemose, usually bearing 2 to 7 flowers depending on the bulb size. The variety is mid-season; mass flowering in the open field occurs in the second half of July.
The variety is winter-hardy for zone 4 (-29.4...-34.4°C), resistant to lodging due to sturdy shoots, and suitable for transport.
