The variety «Corso» has undergone verification for stability of characteristics during multiple propagation cycles. Experts use flower coloration as the key trait when identifying this variety.

In literature, the variety «Corso» is often confused with the variety «Corsage», which belongs to the Asiatic hybrid group. «Corsage» is characterized by a plant height of 75 to 150 cm, cream-pink flowers with burgundy spotting, as well as winter hardiness and low maintenance.
