The variety is classified as fiber flax. It was obtained through selection using the pedigree method and is part of the Polish flax gene pool.

Morphological parameters of the variety, including stem length and technical length, have been entered into the International Flax Database. The variety underwent testing for fiber content in the stem and was evaluated for resistance to Fusarium.

In comparative yield trials, the variety was characterized as one of the least valuable. Its ripening periods are described in literature as having deviations when compared with standard varieties.
