The variety is intended for cultivation as a fiber crop. Fiber yield is 1.4–1.9 t/ha, and spinning quality of the fiber is estimated at 12–13 km.

In scientific studies, the variety is characterized as genetically uniform. Unlike oilseed flax varieties, this variety specializes in stem and fiber productivity.
