The variety belongs to the group of low-persistence grasses and is used in grass mixtures for hay and silage production. It is distinguished by early spring regrowth and heading dates compared to a number of other varieties.

The plant possesses relative sensitivity to the soil fungus Fusarium culmorum. In comparative trials, the variety demonstrated lower winter hardiness and a lower degree of leafiness compared to other varieties represented during that period.
