The variety was developed by crossing breeding lines, combining the vigorous spring growth of Swiss ecotypes with high disease resistance characteristic of the Axis variety in a tetraploid state. The plants have medium to tall stem height, long leaves of medium width and green color.

The variety is distinguished by high yield and excellent forage digestibility. Intended for establishing short-term hay meadows for 1–2 years, effective in pure stands or in mixtures with red clover for producing green fodder and haylage. Possesses pronounced resistance to leaf diseases and bacterial wilt.
