The variety is a tetraploid form of Italian ryegrass intended for use as a forage crop. According to morphological descriptions recorded in international testing methods, the plant possesses a wide leaf form.

Within breeding programs, the variety was noted as possessing relative resistance to weevils in pasture ecosystems. Results of comparative trials confirm its status as a forage variety, however, detailed agrotechnical indicators, such as height or maturity group, are not presented in open publications.
