Variety description

The variety is tetraploid and is an erect plant with a dense tuft. Stems are green, smooth, and long, with narrow linear leaves. The inflorescence is formed as a linear green spike with awned lanceolate spikelets; seeds are dark brown in color.

The period from spring regrowth to the first cut takes 40–45 days. Over the vegetation period, the variety is capable of providing up to three cuts with a dry matter yield of 8–9 t/ha. Seed yield is 1500–1700 kg/ha. The variety possesses high resistance to diseases and pests.

The variety can be used both in monoculture sowings and as part of grass mixtures. Due to its ability for intensive regrowth after mowing, it is suitable for frequent use for fodder purposes.
