The variety is tetraploid and characterized as medium-early or medium-late. The plant has medium-fast or fast spring growth and shows medium-high density of regrowth after cutting. Regarding disease resistance, the variety is considered less resistant to rusts and the complex of leaf spot diseases of grasses.

The variety was obtained as a synthetic population by mass crossing and family selection. It is intended for intensive cultivation for forage purposes, including use in monoculture or as part of short-term grass stands, including mixtures with legumes.
