Probeko is a tetraploid variety with a moderate semi-prostrate spring growth habit. The variety belongs to the mid-early or mid-late maturity group and has a high regrowth rate after mowing.

The plant is characterized by increased winter hardiness, which allows it to be used for two years, although a susceptibility to leaf spot complex has been noted.

The variety is intended for intensive production of forage, such as silage and green fodder. It is suitable for cultivation in monoculture, as part of short-term clover-grass stands, and for the needs of biogas plants.
