The variety is tetraploid (4n). It is distinguished by slow growth in the spring period, which reduces competition with the main crop when used as an under-sowing component. Intensive development of the plant occurs after harvesting the main crop, which ensures the production of additional green mass in autumn and early spring.

The produce is characterized by a high content of water-soluble carbohydrates, which promotes high-quality ensiling. The variety is suitable for intensive forage production by grazing or silage harvesting. The plant possesses a good ability to regrow after mowing.
