The Projektil variety is a tetraploid (marked T) representative of the species Lolium multiflorum. This type is characterized by larger seeds, high growth vigor, and green mass productivity compared to diploid varieties.

The plant is primarily used in forage production for silage and hay, as well as for pasture use. In addition, the variety is suitable for cultivation as a fast-growing catch crop or for temporary greening.
