The variety is intended for temporary restoration or improvement of grass cover on sports facilities during the autumn-winter period, especially when combined with thermophilic grass species. The plant is characterized by a very fine leaf texture, dark green color, and high turf density.

Seed germination occurs in approximately 3 days. The variety ensures a gradual transitional period in the spring by losing color intensity, which facilitates cover replacement without sharp contrast. The plant possesses good recovery ability after mechanical stress and trampling.

Thunder demonstrates high resistance to major turf pathogens, including leaf spot, dollar spot, and rust. Once the turf is established, the variety supports a mowing height from 20 mm.
