The variety possesses high nutritional value and organic matter digestibility. Studies have shown that silage from this variety is characterized by increased intake levels by cattle and sheep, which is attributed to the structural characteristics of the plants and lower physical resistance during chewing.

In modern publications, the variety is mentioned primarily as an object for studying the distribution of the English grain aphid. The variety is included in genetic sample databases, however, a detailed description of its breeding process and a full agronomic characterization are absent in open sources.
